1. What cookies are
Cookies are small files that a website stores on your device. Similar tools, such as the browser’s local storage or pixels, work in a similar way. Some are essential for the site to work; others are used for measurement or advertising and need your consent.
2. Technical cookies · always on
They make the site work, protect it and remember your choices. They don’t need consent.
| Name | Provider | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
| sim_cookie_prefs | This site | Remembers your cookie choices (local storage) | 6 months |
| sim_router | This site | Keeps your answers to the guided chat, so you can attach them to a booking or message if you choose (session storage) | Until you close the tab |
| sim_pkg | This site | Remembers the video package you picked while you move to the order form (session storage) | Until you close the tab |
| __cf_bm | Cloudflare | Tells people apart from bots and protects the site from malicious traffic | 30 minutes |
| [cf_clearance] | Cloudflare | Remembers that you passed a security check, only if one is shown to you | [to be configured] |
| [order_session] | This site | Keeps you signed in to your order page after you open your personal link | [7 days] |
3. Statistics
To know how many people visit the site and which pages work best I use [Cloudflare Web Analytics], which uses no cookies, stores nothing on your device and only produces aggregate, anonymous data. That’s why I don’t ask for your consent. If I ever use statistics tools with cookies, I will only turn them on with your consent and list them here.
4. Marketing · only with your consent
If you consent, the site loads the Meta Pixel from Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd. It measures the results of campaigns on Facebook and Instagram and helps show you relevant ads. Without consent the pixel is not loaded; events sent from the server through the Conversions API are also only sent if you have consented.
| Name | Provider | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
| _fbp | Meta | Recognises the browser to measure advertising campaigns | 90 days |
| _fbc | Meta | Stores the click on an ad that brought you to the site | 90 days |
Meta also processes this data as an independent controller, under its own policy (facebook.com/privacy/policy), and may process it in the United States under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.
5. External content and payments
- Fonts: hosted on this site, with no requests to Google Fonts or other external services.
- Portfolio videos: hosted on my own servers; they only start when you press play and use no third-party cookies.
- Bookings: the calendar is part of the site, with no external services. The video call opens on Google Meet, outside this site, under the terms of Google, a US company.
- WhatsApp: the button only opens WhatsApp when you use it; the site sets no WhatsApp cookies.
- Newsletter: sign-up goes through Brevo; the emails contain no pixels that record opens.
- Payments: while paying you are on Mollie’s page, which uses its own technical and anti-fraud cookies under its own policy.
- Bot check: [Cloudflare Turnstile] checks that forms are filled in by a person, with no profiling cookies.
Cloudflare, Google and Meta are US companies: when they process data in the United States, the transfer relies on the EU-US Data Privacy Framework and the standard contractual clauses. Mollie, for payments, is based in the European Union. Details in the privacy policy.
6. How to choose and change your mind
- On your first visit the banner lets you accept, reject or choose categories. The three buttons carry the same weight.
- Closing the banner with the X counts as rejecting: only technical cookies stay on.
- Scrolling the page or carrying on browsing does not count as consent.
- You can change your mind at any time from the link, also found at the bottom of every page.
- I will only ask for your consent again if the tools change or 6 months after your choice.
- You can also delete or block cookies in your browser settings; if you block technical ones, some features may not work.
For everything else, see the privacy policy.
